*Ustadh John Starling was born and raised in the U.S. He accepted Islam at the age of 19 in 1999. After graduating from North Carolina State University he spent 7 years in al-Madinah learning Islam where he graduated from the College of Theology and Mission. He is fluent in Arabic and is known for his friendly teaching style. Ustadh John is active in dawah, lecturing, teaching, and publishing various works. Ustadh John is currently an Instructor and Lecturer at the Foundation for Knowledge and Development.
